Boy, it sure is hot here in Idaho. I wouldn’t say it’s hotter than living in the desert, but it’s a stickier hot. The air is moist here. The heat tends to stick.
Now, on a completely unrelated note, my good buddy Jacob Bartlett, who some of you may remember as the voice of Breastical Boy and the mugger in episode one, has just donated to me my very first piece of Crow-Man fanart, which I have uploaded and posted over in our fantastic Crow-Man Art section! You can check it out here, or by heading over to Jacob’s DeviantART page.
Jacob is a terrific artist, and this image is no exception. I wouldn’t exactly say that this big, muscly, beefy guy matches my image of the young, inexperienced, and often awkward Crow-Man, but it is a very good stylized concept of what he might look like if placed within a real comic book environment. Other than the color of his boots, which have since evolved in my head to being the same color as his gloves, the costume design is pretty much dead on. I assume the tower in the background is the EMFM tower.
First Crow-Man history article
If you will please direct your attention to the FANTASTIC Crow-Man history section, you will notice that I have added a very fascinating article pertaining to Crow-Man’s first ever appearance. You can find the article here.
Alright. I’ll level with you all. I know most of you are not actually interested in the article itself, but I DID include the very first comic Crow-Man ever starred in. Eventually I’ll get to uploading the old Terminal Crossing Heroes comics, the old Adventures of Crow-Man comics, and the short lived Adventures of Crow-Man 2.0 comics. After all that’s done, I’ll even upload some newer comics that I have never released to the public!
More updates on the way to fill the gap until Episode one is released, so once again, stay tuned Honorary Crow-Friends!
First Crow-Man download!
I have uploaded the very first Adventures of Crow-Man download in our downloads section. Nothing too fancy, just a wallpaper that I put together, based on the site header. More will be coming soon, including the Adventures of Crow-Man Winamp skin!
As for the progress of Episode one, it’s a’comin’. Expect it in the next few weeks. When it gets closer, I’ll produce an actual date for you all to look forward to, then update weekly from there on out. Until then, I’ll be periodically filling up the site itself with some content. If you’ve looked around, you’ll see that most of the links to the left are blank. I expect to have quite a bit more content up by the time episode one is out.
Stay tuned, honorary Crow-Friends!
